“Kiddie party” (9/17/16)

As if his other birthday parties weren’t enough, Alexander had a belated birthday party with 16 of his classmates on Saturday at the Museum of Transportation. We wanted him to have a “kid” party like the other kids (we attended 12 such parties last year!), and it was a great opportunity to get to know his new classmates and their parents a bit better. For a pleasant change of pace, the party was virtually effortless, and the venue was wonderful – everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! Even Zachary had a great time; he toddled around, availing himself of all the amusements, with no concern whatsoever for the bigger kids swarming around him.
