Pre-holiday extravaganza(s) (December 2014)

Alexander had a very busy and productive pre-holiday season, during which he participated in many “firsts,” including making pizza, paining a ceramic car, painting a ceramic light-up Christmas tree, and decorating a gingerbread house (two, actually!) and gingerbread men. He turned out to be surprisingly good at both tree-painting and house decoration (he successfully installed the gumdrop fence and the nonpareil trim with minimal assistance!). Before our trip to Boston, he also enjoyed an “exciting” visit to St. Charles, where he particularly loved the impressive marching fife band and the fresh-baked cookies.
