Post-Thanksgiving Fun
After Thanksgiving, Alexander enjoyed a festive day in Marblehead, a Hanukkah party, and, as if the vehicular excitement of October weren’t enough, a private tour of the Wayland Fire Department. He was fascinated and apparently thrilled to be in such close contact with so many shiny red trucks. Hopefully he appreciates the fact that most babies do not get personalized fire-house experiences! (In an unrelated automotive event, a friendly off-duty bus-driver in Marblehead let him sit in the driver’s seat of his bus. For some reason the driver recommended against becoming a professional bus-driver – we can’t imagine why!) After the fire department tour, Alexander topped off a very active multi-holiday weekend with lunch and some real live “neigh-neighs” at a holiday fair in Holliston.
- Lunching in Marblehead
- Driving a bus
- The bus driver with his grandmother
- Playing in the toy store (evidently a very effective marketing strategy…)
- Poking his shadow
- Alexander and Benji look concerned that their grandfather is setting fire to household objects
- Hanukkah and birthday celebrations
- In the driver’s seat of a real fire truck
- Viewing the ambulance
- Posing in the emergency call center
- Fire engine engine
- Where did Uncle Will get that authentic looking costume?
- Many, many shiny emergency vehicles
- Book break in the firehouse living quarters
- My very own fire truck?! Baby to the rescue!
- Holliston holiday stroll
